Hi! Recently my iphone started to giving me headaches….Followed by broken ear speaker (which i replaced ) came broken mic-one for phone calls. I tried to clean ear mesh but nothing helped. That was not all! Suddenly home button stopped working. I got alert like “unable to activate touch ID” so i tried restart my phone but that only made things much worse. Now phone keep apple looping and there was nothing i could do. So after one week if me trying to do itunes restore i keep getting 4013 error. I couldnt restore my phone even in DFU mode. So i tried disconect whole screen assembly from iphone and tired restore again and it WORKED ( i was so happy lol) but home button still didnt work. When i restored iphone i made mistake and restarted phone…..phone keep looping at logo again…..I remembered that i disconnected whole screen in order to restore with itunes, and then i tried to turn on phone the same way. IT worked! i can turn on iphone if i disconect flex for home button ( after phone is on i can plug it in back ). Anyone ever had or heard of same problem ? Cause i think home button must worked when i setted up iphone in dfu mode and when i tried to set in recoverY mode when you keep pressing home button was sussesfull to. I think my home button wont work only in IOS. Any suggestions ? Best regards, Rok p.s. Sorry for my not so good English Grammar.

Was the home button ever unplugged when attempting to repair the earpiece speaker? Just an FYI the top microphone is part of the front camera ribbon cable assembly. It is used when speakerphone / hands free mode is activated during calls (also the loudspeaker / bottom speaker is used in speaker mode too). The earpiece speaker and the bottom microphone (which is part of the charging port) is used in normal calls. So currently, the issue with sound and/or microphone is it like not working at all or very quiet? Very quiet indicates dust blockage in this case check all grills bottom and earpiece grill (Usually dust blockage occurs). The bottom left grill is used for microphone. The bottom right grill is used for loudspeaker. The grill above the screen is used for earpiece speaker and top microphone. I should probably be calling the bottom microphone primary microphone and the top microphone secondary microphone. Sorry for the blabbering. :P
