I have added photo after photo to home screen and always across the eyes is the PRESS AND HOLD SCREEN TO ADD ITEMS" there has to be a way to remove this.. please help this 67 yr old Techno idiot

Hi, Try this, put any app icon on it, then remove it. Regards.

If adding an app doesn’t work, try rebooting. My LG-V20 showed that little notification bugger over icons/widgets I’d put on the new screen until I rebooted.
