I accidentally scraped my phone battery a couple of times while removing the back panel of my OnePlus 6T. Should I replace the battery or will this battery still work like this? It is not punctured at all, just has some grooves on top

Even if it works fine, replace it. Normally I wouldn’t be concerned about a very, very light surface scratch but these are deep enough to warrant replacing it. Softcells have zero protection like old modular ones in a metal case. It may be fine, but it’s not worth the risk since softcells are so easy to damage. The battery can be found here.

Never used damaged batteries in devices, especially if you get the smell of rubbing alcohol or burnt skittles as other people have described it.
