Chosen Solution Top hinge plastic cover opens slightly when rotating screen past 180 degrees. Seems to get caught on something. This causes clicking sound when it becomes unstuck. Would be cool to see a hinge repair/replacement/tearing down of the dual screen for the LG V50 ThinQ To fix the Clicking noise you have to remove the side to tighten some screws. Tighten all the screws and the click sound will back to the way it was :)...

Chosen Solution Electric bicycle batteries are mostly proprietary and are expensive–often the most expensive part of the e-bike, yet lithium ion cells from major manufactures are much less expensive. A bike battery should reasonably last 2-4 years depending on how they are charged and usage. You should not have to replace a $1,000 battery after two years, if there is a repair option out there. iFixit would seem to be an ideal forum for this with the increased interest in electric bikes for commuting, pleasure and adventure....

Just buy a docking station for your surface. I just bought mine for under $20. It does not use the charging port to charge the surface and charges it a lot faster than the charging port anyway....

Chosen Solution In the middle the seam by the screw is open and every time I ride it it opens then when I get off I have to pop it back into place. Will taking out the screw and puting it back in help? Most likely. If you still can’t get it to work, try getting a longer screw and getting it in there.
Chosen Solution The charging port of my laptop is broken from the inside and I’m afraid of opening it up. The easiest option would be to take it to someone who does know if you are not confident in opening it. Depending on the type of laptop, it could be a mounted component, or a plug in one. I know its not the answer you are looking for, but its the most feasible in this case :)

Chosen Solution My A1278 late 2008 MacBook’ backlight has not working, but I can light up the flashlight close to the screen, and I can the screen is working, just the backlight is not working( like the picture), so what’s the solution of this problem? You’ll need to get someone to fix your logic board. The backlight driver logic tends to breakdown with age. Jsut replace the display unit. It’s hard enough removing the display, plus it’s near impossible to remove the screen from the casing/switch backlights....

Chosen Solution It one of the cords you can pull out of rectangle bit that’s connected to motherboard but I ripped out rectangle bit look at photo If all you did here was to tear off the connector leaving the pads on the board, this can be easily repairs by soldering the connector back on. If the pads were torn off of the board, the repair gets a bit more complicated....
Chosen Solution I broke the battery connector. It is the one that is part of the iPod. I was trying to change the battery. When I lifted the connector, the whole thing came out. The little metal things broke too. Can this be fixed? ooh not good.. you’ll probably have to replace the motherboard, sorry about that :(

Chosen Solution My 55” Vizio has a dark “cloud” on the right side. It’s only a year old. Rich not sure what model your Vizio is not do we know for sure what it looks like. Post some pictures of your screen with your question so we can see what you see. I imagine an irregular shaped dark area on your LCD. That would most likely mean it is a bad LCD panel....
