I replaced my iPhone 6 screen (just the LCD/glass/digitizer and transferred everything else). The screen worked great, but I found my home button wasn’t working. I then switched the button out with the button from another iPhone 6 I also need to fix (different issue). That button didn’t work either I thought I had narrowed it down to the new screen being the issue once I swapped buttons....
Chosen Solution While opening my Iphone 5s to change the battery, when doing this : the LCD connector flex cable just disconnected from the LCD screen, as if it was not really sealed (maybe due to an old drop of my phone..) I don’t even know where to “plug” it. Is there a way to fix this easily ? Sorry, but it sounds like your LCD assembly is toast. You will have to get a new LCD assembly....

These machines are horrible to work on, not to mention the slim part availability. You are better off taking your MBP into an Apple Authorized Service Provider or to an Apple Store to have the screen replaced there....

Chosen Solution So upon following the instructions for the valve adjustment. I was turning the bottom nut to loosen the bottom lock nut a bit and then while i tried to turn the top nut to adjust the gap the adjuster nut moved to the side and popped out and went flying.? Luckily I was able to find it but no metal was damaged off so now how do I go about getting the top nut back on....

It’s pretty complicated to repair and very possible to damage the headphone again while repairing. Because this headphone was not designed to be able to replace the wire and you have to use a soldering iron which needs you to spend some time to learn (if you have never use it before)....
