Chosen Solution I have removed the rubber membrane and circuit board because the buttons stopped working. Now I’d like to know how to properly clean the circuit board before reinstalling it? Tammu Gray use some high grade (95%+) isopropyl alcohol. Use a brush (soft tooth brush works perfectly) to clean the board with that. Isopropyl alcohol in that concentration will evaporate quickly without leaving any residue and does not need to wait long for the board to be dry....

Chosen Solution I dropped my HP Envy x360 15 and the metal on the corners has snapped. What steps should I take to repair this? Due to the snap, the HDMI port is inaccessible. If it was me, I would just cut that piece off. From what I can see in the picture it does not look like it would hurt anything to cut it. Other than that you may have to replace that whole part of the of the laptop which would mean changing everything Mother board and all over to the new one....

For a while it would show 0.08 A, then for a little while it would jump to 0.44 A then reduce to 0.32 A for a while. Then drop off to 0.08 A. Charging volts is steady between 5.15 and 5.17 V. The IPOD will continue to show the “low battery” screen continuously....
