Chosen Solution I have a damaged surface pro 3 with a destroyed touch screen. Totally shattered giving access to all internals. I also have another surface pro 3 that is fully operational. I am trying to move all the information from the broken machine to the working machine making it essentially the old one. I have gained access to the drive from the broken machine using a USB adapter. But I have not been able to get the machine to boot from the USB because of the bit-locker turned on for the old drive....

Chosen Solution Dear, When i move my Dell or press on the casing the screen goes to stripes en turns off. Then it reboots and windows is going to recovery. I opened the device and pressed everything back in to place. But the problem is still there. Hi @luuktoo , Sounds like a loose connection somewhere, as simply moving it should not cause what appears to be a power failure. (By “screen goes to stripes en turns off” I assume you mean that the laptop turns off and not just the screen)....

Chosen Solution Hi. So one day I had a sticky substance on my Ps Vita. I resolved to over-wetting (I guess?) a paper tissue and wiping around the screen. I might’ve done something with the screen/over wet the screen and now, the Ps Vita won’t on when wanted (via the power button) and would only work when you use the ps button. If I do get to the flick screen to get to the application/selection screen it will, (most times) introduce the power off and cancel screen, which (no matter what you decide within a few seconds given) it’ll off and you’ll have to turn on the Ps Vita again (with the same problems)....

Help before I get in trouble is the battery dying? idk, do I have to get it repaired? Sounds like that are probably coming from the cooling fan. It probably needs to be replaced, they usually make noise a long time before they actually stop....

Chosen Solution Dear Ifixer’s, I have some issues with an iphone 7 screen replacement. Replaced the customers screen and looks like the homebutton isn’t working anymore, but the touch ID reader still does. I have readed already some answered question involving homebutton troubles. Some say entering DFU mode and installing the software again should solve the “half” working home button issue, but in my case it didn’t…. Wat i did so far is handled the screen repair with the most precision, after the repair checkt all the cable’s and connection’s and everything looks fine at first site....

Chosen Solution Hi, i have an LG 42cs570 that recently begin to make horizontal line from the top of the screen to the botthm but apparently only when the tv is cold. Like if i let it run for 3-4 hour lines disappear ( way faster if i heat it with an air dryer ) Any idea on what can cause this? Chosen Solution Happens after a few minutes if the unit is “cold”. If the laptop is warm and i close the lit, the lines are there instantly. I suspect either loose LCD flex cable or GPU issue. The compressor recently crapped out, which was confirmed by a local repairman who also enlightened me to the wonderful insight of LG’s legal issues with their refrigerators, but because this is technically a Kenmore fridge, they are not liable for this. His two offers were to replace the compressor and recharge the fridge for almost the original cost of the fridge, or just refill the freon which could last a week or a month, no way of knowing....

Chosen Solution @zmentz we remove Cyanoacrylate-based glue by using some mineral oil as well as lemon juice. Use a cotton swab to apply it. Let those soak for a bit to give them a chance to loosen the bond. Careful with liquids so that those do not run into your trackpad. You can cover any opening slot with some tape etc. Place it so that it is horizontal to avoid run-off....
