It is very difficult to separate the LCD/Digitizer and replacing the complete assembly will make it easier. Get the disassembly guide from the bottom of this page. The speaker, camera, and the rest of the parts on the frame are glued on the frame....
Chosen Solution how to disable bios password on lenovo netbook, because i cannot login to set bios ThinkPad Mini 10 netbooks you have to open up the back, and short the Eprom Bios reader use a magnifying glass, find it, and it is pin 5 and 6 on the eprom, (SDA) and (SDL) the eprom is the first selection of the motherboard that when booted, it checks security on the system, be carefull powering on the Notebook with the back cover off, turn the laptop on it’s side, boot the power on button, look for Circuit print (U46) that should be the Eprom, (see pictures Below of the two different eproms you may have) usually the eprom is adjacent halfway next to the hard drive, some other thinkpads they are located under the ram, or next to the BIOS battery....
Chosen Solution It’s a beautiful machine but it has a broken metal frame. I want to fix it but it is a big job and I have no experience. The break is below the battery, so I can see it. Normally the rigidity of the frame keeps the battery in place. At the moment the flexing of the frame means I have no battery connection. I am considering using a solvent, but really not sure....
