Chosen Solution I recently badly cracked my phone screen and took it to get repaired, it wasn’t done by Apple (foolish me) therefore they can’t help me. After getting the screen repaired I noticed that there is a white hotspot on my screen, not only that but Apple were able to tell me that the sensor at the top of the phone controlling brightness is no longer working. Chosen Solution I ordered a battery replacement kit and replaced the old battery in my phone with the new one. The repair went smooth, I didn’t have to pry the battery, and I was careful not to damage anything. I turned it back on and the home button and Touch ID are not working at all. I’ve done a few battery replacements before and have never had a problem. I already tried restarting the phone and I checked to make sure the screen ribbon cables were seated properly....
Chosen Solution I re-installed digitizer screen and now home button does not respond. You have damaged home flat, not rare damage in the process of digitizer replacement. Replace it and it will work. Good luck.
Chosen Solution Okay, I have an LG Q6 (not the G6) but Q6 was not an option in the device list on this forum. Guess the phone is newer than the list. Anyways, proximity sensor. Normally, one can turn that off (disable it) in the call settings under the phone app. Unfortunately, I do not see such an option on the Q6. The purpose of the proximity sensor is to turn off the screen when you put the phone to your ear so you ear doesn’t touch the “touch screen” and hang up calls....
Chosen Solution I cracked under the screen of my tv. It’s a 49” Samsung UHD 4K. I called a center and they said it would cost 800 to fix, literally double the price of the TV. Any chance of having it done cheaper? Unfortunately, no. That requires a complete screen replacement which will cost you tons of money no matter what you do or where you go. You’re better off getting a used version of your TV off Mercari or eBay....
Chosen Solution how do I fix it it doesn’t work it keeps openening I assume your Xbox360 disc tray keeps opening on its own. Don’t leave it near a heat source. The on and eject buttons are heat sensitive. It could also be the cable, the buttons or the board aka system. Or kindly check out another ifixt thread of a similar issue. I pulled the clip off but am not sure how to pull off the hose with out braking it since its all plastic. Look on the back of the screen for the screen part number and then search online using the part number to hopefully find suppliers. Screens are made by specialist screen manufacturers to specifications set by the TV manufacturer. You’ll find that these manufacturers do not sell to the public or if they do they won’t sell just the one screen....

For the first year or so, I was getting crazy battery life, 10+ hrs., despite what I was doing (mostly lots of multitasking with Chrome and Pages/Preview/other documents). Now, after 595 charge cycles, even just with Preview w/ 1 document and 2 tabs in Chrome (multiple power-saving plugins), my battery percentage is dropping from 100% to 78-82% after two hours....

Chosen Solution The camera I’m working on (Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ35 - not available from the list) has one of the usual flexible ribbon interconnects connecting the lens motors and sensors to the main logic board. I get no continuity between the zoom motor (beneath the ribbon) and the corresponding connector pads and I suspect the track is fractured at the fold (ringed) in one of the spurs. Repair is going to be difficult....
